Then push the insert & cable clamp together into the shell. 4 5 Strip the cable Close the cable clamp slightly and push the boot over the clamp ensuring the wires fit inside the boot. 7 3 Thread the nut (Backshell) onto the shell (Torque 0.8Nm - 1.2Nm) to activate the cable clamp and close the connector assembly. Final assembly can be achieved either by manually screwing the boot on, or by using an Amphenol Australia T2860 termination tool. Rev 1 - 03/2009 Push back the insert only enough to expose the solder buckets. It is not necessary to remove the insert.
