Description MAXGTPREFDES is a power-supply module for the Xilinx® Spartan®-6 FPGA SP623 Characterization Kit. The module uses the 25A MAX8686 power regulator with internal MOSFETs to supply all the rails of the 3.125Gbps transceivers on the Spartan-6 XC6SLX150T-3FGG676 FPGA. The power-supply module has been tested in hardware and shown to be the lowest noise when compared to competitor power-supply modules. The MAXGTPREFDES board complies with Xilinx power-supply module specifications and can be plugged directly into the SP623 board to power it.
