TC75S57F/FU/FE TOSHIBA CMOS Linear Integrated Circuit Silicon Monolithic TC75S57F,TC75S57FU,TC75S57FE Single Comparator The TC75S57F/TC75S57FU/TC75S57FE is a CMOS generalpurpose single comparator. The device can operate off a single power supply and draws a lower supply current than a conventional bipolar general-purpose comparator. This device’s push-pull output stage can be directly connected to TTL or CMOS logic ICs, among others. TC75S57F Features • • • • • • Low-current power supply Single power supply operation Wide common mode input voltage range : VSS~VDD − 0.9 V Push-pull output circuit Low input bias current Small package TC75S57FU : IDD = 100 μA (typ.) Please design the appropriate reliability upon reviewing the Toshiba Semiconductor Reliability Handbook (“Handling Precautions”/“Derating Concept and Methods”) and individual reliability data (i.e. reliability test report and estimated failure rate, etc). Note: This device’s CMOS structure makes it prone to latch-up. To prevent latch-up, please take the following precautions: • • Ensure that no I/O pin’s voltage level ever exceeds VDD or drops below VSS. In addition, check the power-on timing. Do not subject the device to excessive noise. 2 2007-11-01 TC75S57F/FU/FE Electrical Characteristics (unless otherwise specified, VDD = 5 V, VSS = GND, Ta = 25°C) Characteristics Input offset voltage Input offset current Input bias current Common mode input voltage Supply current Voltage gain Sink current Source current Output voltage Operating supply voltage Propagation delay time (turn on) Symbol VIO IIO II CMVIN IDD (Note) GV Isink Isource VOL VOH VDD tPLH (1) tPLH (2) tPHL (1) tPHL (2) tTLH tTHL Test Circuit ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ VOL = 0.5 V VOH = 4.5 V Isink = 5.0 mA Isource = 5.0 mA ⎯ Over drive = 100 mV TTL step input Over drive = 100 mV TTL step input Over drive = 100 mV Over drive = 100 mV Test Condition ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ Min ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ 0 ⎯ ⎯ 13 9 ⎯ 4.7 1.8 ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ Typ. ±1 1 1 ⎯ 110 94 25 21 0.1 4.9 ⎯ 140 90 90 70 11 7 Max ±7 ⎯ ⎯ 4.1 220 ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ 0.3 ⎯ 7.0 ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ Unit mV pA pA V μA dB mA mA V V ns Propagation delay time (turn off) ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ns Response time ns Electrical Characteristics (unless otherwise specified, VDD = 3 V, VSS = GND, Ta = 25°C) Characteristics Input offset voltage Input offset current Input bias current Common mode input voltage Supply current Sink current Source current Output voltage Propagation delay time (turn on) Propagation delay time (turn off) Response time Symbol VIO IIO II CMVIN IDD (Note) Isink Isource VOL VOH tPLH tPHL tTLH tTHL Test Circuit ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ VOL = 0.5 V VOH = 2.5 V Isink = 5.0 mA Isource = 5.0 mA Over drive = 100 mV Over drive = 100 mV Over drive = 100 mV Over drive = 100 mV Test Condition ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ Min ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ 0 ⎯ 6 3 ⎯ 2.65 ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ Typ. ±1 1 1 ⎯ 100 18 15 0.15 2.85 110 90 7 8 Max ±7 ⎯ ⎯ 2.1 200 ⎯ ⎯ 0.35 ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ ⎯ Unit mV pA pA V μA mA mA V ns ns ns ⎯ ⎯ Note: This device’s current consumption increases as its operating frequency increases.
