It features 100% Novell NE2000 compatibility, and 16K of on-board memory for high-performance multi-packet buffering. Diagnostic LEDs simplify installation and troubleshooting of the network connection. The module includes a built-in 10BASE-T transceiver and RJ-25 connector for use with standard Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cabling. In addition, an on-board AUI connector supports external transceivers (MAU) for 10BASE-2, 10BASE-5, 10BASE-FOIRL, etc. The PCM-3660 comes with drivers for a wide variety of networks and operating systems.
