In order to manage the change, some new product names (CPN) had been created with a suffix or a deletion of an existing suffix. The suffix had been in use to help ATMEL internal logistics to manage a smooth transfer from Heilbronn test and packing location to Manila test and packing location. Both locations are ATMEL owned and released in the PPAP. There is no difference in form, fit or function in the two devices. Both devices can be used in exchange.
