PIC18FXX20 64/80 pin TQFP Demo Board Summary This demo board is designed to allow the evaluation of the new PIC18F family of devices in 64 and 80 pin TQFP packages. The board comes fully populated with the PIC18F8720 MCU. This part is the superset of the entire family of devices including: PIC18F6520, PIC18F6620, PIC18F6720, PIC18F8520, PIC18F8620 and PIC18F8720. Additional Features • Direct connection to the Microchip MPLAB® ICD 2 In Circuit Programmer and Debugger. • A standard RSR232 - 9 pole D connector supports asynchronous serial communication up to 115K baud with access to RTS and CTS lines for hardware handshake. • A full break out of all the pins is available through connectors J2, J3, J4, J5. (J2 contains pins 1-20; J3 contains pins 21-40; J4 contains pins 41-60; J5 contains pins 61-80) • Microchip’s award winning TC74 temperature sensor is connected to the MSSP port. • Accepts standard power supply as used by other development tools including: PICSTART® Plus, PRO MATE® II, and other demo boards. The power supply is also available as an accessory kit (AC162048).
