The use of a toggle linkage is utilized to produce the force needed to do crimping. Installation Receiving • Upon arrival, remove the QP-104 hand press from the shipping crate, and inspect immediately for shipping damage. Report any damage to a FCI USA representative, and file a damage claim with the carrier. Set-up • The QP-104 should be securely mounted to an adequate work bench top with ¼ inch bolts, washers, and nuts. Service Service • • Once a month, the bearings, toggle joints and ram shaft should be lubricated with 20w oil.
