The APW7172 is equipped with power-on-reset, soft-start, over-temperature protection, and current-limit into a single package. In shutdown mode, the supply current is only 25µA (typical). The device, which is available in SOP-8 and MSOP-10P packages, provides a very compact system solution with minimal external components and PCB area.
