Statement of Information Disclosure for the Requirement of SVHC (Substances
of Very High Concern) under EU REACH (Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals)
Alpha & Omega Semiconductor (Hong Kong) Limited (AOS) hereby declares that these substances
of Very Hign Concern (SVHC candidate as below listed) are NOT CONTAINED in AOS’s products,
except some products applied Condition A or Condition A & B.
Condition A: lead / CAS #7439-92-1 as main ingredient in high temperature melting solder as die
attach and/or clip bonding, which applied EU RoHS exemption clause 7(a): Lead in high melting
temperature type solders (i.e. lead- based alloys containing 85 % by weight
or more lead).
Condition B: 1,6,7,8,9,14,15,16,17,17,18,18-dodecachloropentacyclo [12.2.1.16,9.02,13.05,10]
octadeca-7,15-diene / CAS No.: 13560-89-9 as the additive in one type of molding compound for
encapsulation.
Provision of such information are based upon our best known knowledges and information obtained
from AOS’ supply chains.
Note: ‘NOT CONTAINED’ means NOT PRESENT in their relevant devices (REACH classify them as
articles) above a concentration of 0.1% / 1000ppm weight by weight.
