APX803L MICRO POWER VOLTAGE DETECTOR Pin Assignments NEW PRODUCT Description The APX803L is brand new micro-power voltage detector series developed by Diodes Inc. with target to be used for microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits to monitor the power supplies in µP and digital systems. It provides wide range of detection voltage level ranging from 1.2V to 5.0V with 0.1V per step options fixed internally from circuit design. As to supply current, APX803L series requires low supply current level of 1µA (typical) which gives no burden to power efficiency on systems requiring detection functions, such as smart phone, battery-powered devices, Internet equipments and so on. Low Supply Current: 1.0µA (typ.), 2.5µA (max.) Internal Fixed 1.2V to 5.0V Threshold with 0.1V Step High Threshold Voltage Accuracy: ±1.5% Quick Reset within 20μs Built-in Recovery Delay Time Options: 0ms, 55ms, 220ms and 450ms Open-Drain Output: Active Low No External Components Required SOT23, SOT323, SC59 and SOT25 Packages Totally Lead-Free & Fully RoHS Compliant (Notes 1 & 2) Halogen and Antimony Free. “Green” Device (Note 3) RESET VCC 3 These circuits perform the supervisory function by sending out a reset signal whenever it founds the monitored VCC level falls below a chosen threshold voltage level and the reset signal will remain until VCC recovers to a level higher than threshold voltage.
