ENCODERS February, 2012 End of Life for Model EN Optical Encoder with Index Channel Bourns® Sensors & Controls Product Line is announcing the end of life for Model EN Series optical encoders of the index channel version. The ASIC supplier is stopping production of the component required to produce this feature. Current active part numbers are listed below for reference: ENA2J-B28-L00064 ENA2J-B28-L00064L ENA2J-B28-L00100L ENC2J-D16-R00100L ENS2J-B28-L00128 ENS2J-B28-L00128L Last time buy orders will be accepted until April 1, 2012. Schedules will be as produced. Possible Replacement: Bourns does offer a non-contacting product line incorporating an index channel that may be considered in place of the EN series.
