POWER TVS PRODUCTS ADVANCE NOTICE Bourns Releases New Power TVS (PTVS) Products Riverside, California - TO BE RELEASED FEBRUARY 13, 2012 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of high current bidirectional TVS diodes designed for use in AC line protection and high power DC bus clamping applications. These devices offer bidirectional port protection from 58 volts to 470 volts, are RoHS* and UL compliant while also meeting IEC 61000-4-5 8/20 μs current surge requirements. The use of silicon technology in the Power TVS products generally offers lower clamping voltage under surge than competing MOV technology.
