FIXED RESISTORS Bourns Releases Its First Safety Resistor Series Riverside, California - September 10, 2010 - Bourns® Fixed Resistors Product Line introduces Model PWR4522 - a wirewound and axial leaded fusible power resistor with a UL rated flame-resistant coating. Model PWR4522 has been designed to fuse safely at sixteen times the rated power in a maximum time of 45 seconds. Model PWR4522 also fuses safely and instantaneously when 220/240 mains voltage is applied. Bourns® PWR4522 Series is designed for consumer and industrial applications requiring the integration of a current-limiting and surge-resistant resistor with a fail-safe mains fuse.
