DEM-OPA-WSON8-EVM
The DEM-OPA-WSON8-EVM is an unpopulated evaluation module for the single channel op-amps in the
DSG (8-pin WSON) package. This EVM is designed to high-speed performance specifications and is
compatible with amplifiers that have over 1 GHz of gain bandwidth.

EVM Specifications
This section provides a general description of the DEM-OPA-WSON8-EVM.
2.1
Power Connections
The DEM-OPA-WSON8-EVM is designed to use banana jacks for easy connection of power. The positive
supply input is labeled VCC, the negative supply input is labeled VEE, and ground is labeled GND.
2.1.1
Split-Supply Operation
To operate in split-supply, apply the positive supply voltage to VCC, the negative supply voltage to VEE,
and the ground reference from supply to GND.
2.1.2
Single-Supply Operation
To operate in single-supply, apply jumper VEE to GND and apply the positive supply voltage to VCC.
Inputs and outputs must be biased based on your selected device data sheet specifications for proper
operation.
2.2
Input and Output Connections
The DEM-OPA-WSON8-EVM is equipped with footprints for SMA connectors to connect to signal
generators and analysis equipment. Typically test equipment has 50-Ω termination, so matching resistors
R1 and R3 are provided to create matched impedances in any configuration. For best results, signals
must be routed to and from the EVM with cables with a characteristic impedance of the same value as the
test equipment and board.
