For new designs, we recommend the EPL2010, EPL2014 or LPS3010 as an alternative to this series. They all offer better current handling, lower DCR and a lower profile. The EPL series also offers a smaller footprint. We will continue to manufacture and support the 0603PS.

1. When ordering, please specify termination and packaging codes: 0603PS-473KLC Termination: L = RoHS compliant silver-palladium-platinum-glass frit. Special order: T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5) or S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). Packaging: C = 7″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (2000 parts per full reel). B = Less than full reel. In tape, but not machine ready. To have a leader and trailer added ($25 charge), use code letter C instead. D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (7500 parts per full reel). 2. Inductance measured at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, using a Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in an Agilent/HP 4263B LCR meter. 3. Q measured on an Agilent/HP 4291 with an Agilent/HP 16193 test fixture. 4. DCR measured on a micro-ohmmeter and a Coilcraft CCF840 test fixture. 5. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture. 6. DC current at which the inductance drops 10% (typ) from its value without current. 7. Current that causes a 40°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. 8. Electrical specifications at 25°C. Refer to Doc 362 “Soldering Surface Mount Components” before soldering.
