WirelessUSB™ LR Radio Module Kit (CY3635M) Release Notes v1.0 Purpose The WirelessUSB™ LR Radio Module Kit provides customers with additional WirelessUSB LR Radio Modules (PDC-9192) for prototyping purposes. It is provided to customers interested in developing long range wireless multipoint to point and point to point devices with the Cypress Semiconductor WirelessUSB LR Radio System on a Chip IC (CYWUSB6935). Kit Contents This kit includes the following items: • WirelessUSB LR Radio Modules Radio modules (PDC-9192) incorporate the RF components onto a single board in order to evaluate the performance of the WirelessUSB LR Radio System on a Chip (CYWUSB6935) – qty 4 • CY3632 DVK Platform Board radio header adapter boards These 14 pin radio header adapter boards (PCD-9191) enable the WirelessUSB LR radio module to plug in to the CY3632 WirelessUSB LS Development Kit platform boards for customers wishing to evaluate our longer range radio device using the PC HID protocol (ex. presenter tools, remote controls). The adapter boards can also be used for easier prototyping since it converts the 2mm radio connector pitch to a more common 0.1” connector pitch. • CY3635 DVK CD-ROM CY3635 CD-ROM provides the WirelessUSB N:1 Development Kit documentation, hardware schematics and bills of materials, and protocol examples. CY3635 DVK CD-ROM Contents The CD-ROM provided in this kit is the same CD-ROM provided in the CY3635 DVK (the WirelessUSB N:1 DVK) which features our multipoint to point low bandwidth protocol. Please see the Release Notes on the root of the CD-ROM for a detailed list of its contents. They can also plug into the CY3632 WirelessUSB LS development kit platform boards using the adapter boards provided in the kit for point to point wireless performance evaluation or development. The WirelessUSB LR radio modules can also be used for prototyping with other microcontrollers and applications independent of the Cypress development kits.
