It includes the front-end part: DVD decoder, data channel and d igital servo c ontroller, and t he back-end part: MCU, MPEG decoder, TV encoder and A udio ADC. This highly integrated chip c an playback not only the standard format of DVD-ROM a nd DVD-R d isk, but also all various CD-ROM d isk types s uch a s CD-DA, VCD, CDI, Photo CD, Karaoke C D, CD-Plus, Enhanced CD, C D-R, etc. The M3351 can b e c onfigured with an RF signal p rocessor (for example, M 5709), audio DAC, RAM buffer, and motor drivers to create a D VD Player system.
