FDB-1017 Finisar 2x5 SFF Evaluation Board T he Finisar FDB-1017 is an evaluation board with 2x5 connector sockets to accept the pins of a 2x5 SFF optical transceiver. The board provides four 50-ohm SMA coaxial connectors (J4-J7*) for the high-speed differential transmitter input and receiver output signals. The board has a single power supply connection (J1) which must be supplied with 3.15-3.6 volts. An LED indicates the Signal Detect output of the module (D4). A switch is provided to assert and test the transmit disable function (SW1). A test point to allow an external transmit disable signal is also provided (TP3). * Refer to schematic below for electrical connections. Component locations are indicated on the circuit board.
