The Finisar Part Numbers affected by this PCN are: Product Platform Finisar Part Number Free Space Isolator FIF-***, FIC-*** Receptacle Isolator FIR-*** Pigtail Isolator FIP-*** Reason for Change Finisar is in the process of moving its isolator manufacturing location from current Wuxi location to external contract manufacturers (CMs). The move is to provide necessary expansion and future growth of its operation and product lines. Detailed Description of Change Move Isolator line from current Wuxi location to external CMs. To successfully transfer the equipment and build isolators with the same high reliability with the least risk and impact on isolator supply, the following plan was adopted and is currently being executed. 1. Rebuild the production line at CMs with the same standard as Wuxi facility; 2. Set up production/test stations at CMs, and finish the setup qualification; 3. Build parts for re-qualification; 4. Complete qualification tests and generate a qualification report; Implementation Date Several events need to be successfully completed before isolators will be supplied to customer. As such, the date of implementation cannot be firmly defined at this time.
