Announcing Obsolescence of 5xSS and 6xSS Families of Magnetic Sensor ICs Summary As we continue to expand our Magnetic Sensor portfolio with new products, Honeywell Sensing & Productivity Solutions (S&PS) will no longer produce certain older design Hall-Effect Sensor IC listings which have effectively reached end of life. These listings have been produced using non-standard IC packages which are not commercially available. Last Time Buy Customers who require parts that are being made obsolete should plan to have their full demand and orders placed no later than June 30, 2016 with delivery requested no later than September 30, 2016. There are no direct replacement parts for these listings as more recent designs are made with newer products. Demand over the last decade has chiefly been for spares requirements. Deliveries have mostly been to North American Distribution. Important Dates  June 30, 2016: Last time buy order cut off. No new orders will be accepted after this date. These catalog listings will be removed from the S&PS website.  September 30, 2016: Final deliveries. Honeywell will not deliver parts after this date.
