RF COAXIAL CONNECTORS PACKAGING SPECIFICATION Specification No. 107-3275 29 JAN 2013 REV E3 1. SCOPE This specification covers the packaging and labeling requirements for RF Coaxial Connectors. Packaging is to comply with this specification in conjunction with Tyco Packaging Specification TEC-107-115. 2. PART NUMBERING DETAILS All part numbers covered by this specification are unique to Product Code F412 (K18). There are two types of packs identified as single connector pack and multiple connector pack. Single connector pack size Dependent on the type, a complete or partially assembled connector is individually packed into a labeled and sealed bag (item 1& 2 in section 3 table). Each bag is packed into a box (item 5, section 3 table). Each box labeled using item 2. Quantity per box is normally 50 bags. (See Section 6 for part numbers that differ to this quantity). Multiple connectors packed in a tray These parts are packed into “clamshell” tray (item 4, section 3 table) 100 connectors per tray. Each tray is labeled (using item 2, section 3 table). Each labeled tray is packed into a box (item 6,section 3 table), 10 trays per box. For details of labeling and packaging, see section 5. 3. ITEMS LISTING The following materials shall be used for labeling and packing. Pack component(s) into individual polythene bags and label (item 1&2, section 3). Pack 50 sealed and labeled polythene bags (see section 6 for exceptions to this quantity) into box (item 5,section 3). Affix a printed label (item 2,section 3) to the box as referred to in TEC-107-115 (item 5). Print details for label (item 2, section 3) - see Figure 1. Seal the box as referred to TEC-107-115. Place 5 boxes into box (item 3, section 3) lid openings to face the same direction. Label box (item 3) with printed label (item 2, section 3). 5. PACKAGING AND LABELING FOR MULTIPLE CONNECTOR PACK SIZE. Pack 100 kits of components to form 100 parts into a clamshell tray (item 4,section 3). Secure the tray lid with clear adhesive tape or similar. Small components should be placed into a clear plastic sachet before packing into the tray. Ensure each tray is securely closed. Affix printed label (item 2,section 3), to the tray. For Print details- see Figure 1. Pack 10 trays into box (item 6, section 3). Seal the box. Affix printed label (item 2, section 3) to the box.
