Introducing BFP Bubble-free Polyester Label TE Connectivity (TE) has developed bubble-free polyester labels, which support clear identification and readability of instructional labels. These industrial high-tack, permanent adhesive labels have unique micro-channels to allow entrapped gas from the substrate to escape. The thermal transfer printable labels lay flat on a variety of high- and low-surface energy plastics and contoured surfaces, even when subjected to 158° F (70°C) for as many as 24 hours. They are also resistant to a variety of solvents while maintaining print quality, all of which makes them ideal for an array of outdoor power equipment such as lawn power tools. KEY FEATURES ENVIRONMENTAL AND STORAGE PROPERTIES • Unique embossed pattern in the adhesive • Service temperature: -29 to +150°C (-20 to +302°F) resists bubbling and lifting due to application surface outgassing • Labels will lay flat on a variety of high- and low-surface energy plastics, textured and contoured surfaces • Thermal transfer printable • Permanent acrylic adhesive • Excellent thermal stability • Moisture resistant • Excellent chemical resistance • Available in white or silver for a metallic look • Minimum application temperature: 10°C (50°F) • Shelf life: 1 year when stored at 22°C (72°F) at 50% RH PRINT TECHNOLOGY • Thermal transfer • Recommended printer: T300 series • Recommended ribbon: 1330-0607-10 MATERIALS 2 mil polyester film, pressure sensitive adhesive, 90# kraft liner APPLICATIONS STANDARDS • Outdoor power equipment • Meets MIL-STD-202 Method 215 • Brand, safety and instructional identification • MIL-M-81531 for abrasion resistance • Name plates • Compliant to EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC • Rating labels PRODUCT SAMPLES • Asset labeling Samples are available upon request.
