Due to their very fast response time, protection level and high Peak Pulse Power (P PP ) capability, they are extremely effective in providing protection against line transients generated by: voltage reversals, capacitive or inductive load switching, electromechanical switching, electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic coupling.
