Loosen thumb screw and set stop to required dimension, eg: required length of header after cut. 3. Slide header onto cutting track. 4. Pull handle to cut header to length. 5. Remove cut parts and repeat above for next header. MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE 1. 2. Keep handtool clean at all times. Oil handtool moving parts using SAE20 or similar. 3. Replace cutting blade when worn. ADJUSTMENTS HEADER AND PITCH 1. Make sure the correct track is fitted to suit header pitch being cut. 2. Loosen thumb screw and slide top block to position to suit required cut length. HANDTOOL The handtool may require adjustment, this is factory set. If adjustment is required, then by releasing and rotating notched wheel on the moving handle, a different cutting height can be obtained. Care should be taken not to over cut or damage may occur. QUALITY A quality procedure should be in place to monitor output from this changehead. SAFETY This handtool should be used in accordance with the operation procedure.
