MP1498 High-Efficiency, 2A, 16V, 1.4MHz Synchronous, Step-Down Converter R EC R N O EF EW M ER D M E TO ES ND I E G M D N P2 S F O 33 R 2H The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP1498 is a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converter with built-in internal power MOSFETs. It offers a very compact solution to achieve 2A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input supply range. The MP1498 has synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency over the output current load range.   Current-mode operation provides a fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Protective features include over-current protection, thermal shutdown, and external SS control.
