Each unit supports up to 128 I/O signals over a pair of wires up to a distance of 200m (400m when a booster is used).  The combination of input and output point quantities (a total of 128 points max.) can be set by the rotary switch in increments of 32 points.  The transmission line connection is realized via a T-branch multi-drop wiring with hook-up connectors. Adding devices is rendered easy and maintenance is easy.
