The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well 1310nm DFB laser, which is Class Ⅰ laser compliant product according to international safety standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated 1490nm APD and preamplifier mounted in an optical header and limiting post-amplifier IC. The optical burst output can be enabled by a LVTTL logic high-level input of TX_BRST. Signal Detected (SD) output is provided to indicate the detection of an input optical signal of receiver.
