Technical Specification Brick Half 48Vin 12Vout 12.5A 150 Watt, No Heatsink, Isolated DC/DC Converter The PQ48120HGA12 PowerQor™ Giga converter is a next-generation, board-mountable, isolated, fixed switching frequency DC/DC converter that uses synchronous rectification to achieve extremely high conversion efficiency. The power dissipated by the converter is so low that a heatsink is not required, which saves cost, weight, height, and application effort. The Giga series converters offer enhanced useable output current in a standard “half-brick” module. The Giga units also feature active current sharing for N+1 and parallel applications. PQ48120HGA12 Module Operational Features • Ultra-high efficiency, >90% at full rated load current • Delivers up to 150 watts of output power with minimal derating - no heatsink required • Wide input voltage range: 35V – 75V meets or exceeds all 48V bus standards • Fixed frequency switching provides predictable EMI performance Protection Features • Input under-voltage lockout and over-voltage shutdown protects against abnormal input voltages • Output current limit and short circuit protection • Output over-voltage protection • Thermal shutdown • Active back bias limit prevents damage to converter from external load induced pre-bias Mechanical Features • Industry standard pin-out configuration • Industry standard size: 2.3” x 2.4” (58.4x61.0mm) • Total height only 0.40” (10.2mm), permits better airflow and smaller card pitch • Total weight: 2.1 oz.
