DESCRIPTION
T he L M 2904 c onsists of two independent, high gain, i nternally f requency c om p ensated operational a m plifiers which were designed specifically to o perate from a s ingle power supply o ver a w ide r ange o f voltages. Operation from s plit power supplies is a lso possible and the low power supply c urrent drain i s independent of the m a gnitude of the power supply v oltage. A pplication areas include transducer am p l i f i e r s , D IP-8 D C gain blocks and all the conventional op am p c ircuits which now can be m o re easily im plem ented i n single power supply s y stem s. For exam ple, the L M2904 c an be directly operated off of the standard +5V power supply voltage which is used in digital systems and will easily provide the required interface electronics without requiring the additional ±1 5V power su p p lies. U NIQUE C HARACTERISTICS
I n the linear m ode the input com m on-m ode voltage range includes ground and the o utput voltage can also swing to ground, even though operated from o nly a s ingle p ower s upply v oltage. T he unity gain cross frequency is tem p erature com p ensated. T he input bias current is also tem p erature com p ensated.
