PTC Small Heater RC 016 These heaters are designed to prevent condensation in small enclosures or to maintain minimum operating temperatures of electronic components (for example, in camera housings, actuators, valve and pump controls, telecom receivers/transmitters, control boxes, or micro base stations). PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heating elements provide a "selfregulating" and "self-limiting" characteristic, making the heater safer and more energy efficient (also see graph below).
