APPLICATIONS
B593 Raised Panel labels are designed for patch panel identification in identifying external pushbuttons, switches,
and internal connection points. B593 is also used as rating and serial plates using alphanumerics that require name
plate quality.

Brady B593 labels underwent accelerated weathering testing (ASTM G155, Cycle 1) over the course of one year.
Observations regarding the appearance of the B593 labels and print on the labels were made at 4 intervals during the one
year and are given in the table below.

Based on internal testing results, 800 hours in the Weatherometer is approximately equivalent to one year of outdoor
exposure in Wisconsin.

PERFORMANCE PROPERTY
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
B593 white printed with the R6000 Series and R6000HF Series ribbons and B593 black printed with the R4400 white
series ribbon, and dwelled 24 hours prior to test. Testing consisted of 5 cycles of 10 minute immersions in the specified
chemical reagent followed by 30 minute recovery periods. After final immersion, samples rubbed 10 times with cotton
swab saturated with test fluid.

Product testing and history of similar products, support a customer performance expectation of at least two years from
the date of receipt for this product as long as this product is stored in its original packaging in an environment below
80°F (27°C) and 60% RH. We are confident that our product will perform well beyond this time frame. However,
it remains the responsibility of the user to assess the risk of using such product. We encourage customers to
develop functional testing protocols that will qualify a product's fitness for use, in their actual application.
