Bulletin No. 1635-2G Dial Gage 2109S-10 Indicator (JIS/ISO Standard) New Dial Indicator The new workhorse of dial indicators is now available, with increased enviromental resistance, increased resistance to shock and a more rigid spindle. Mitutoyo’s Dial Gage 2109S-10 now offers users more stability and longer life, thanks to advances to the inner workings of the rack and pinion gear system. Shock resistance is increased with a more robust gear train, while contamination resistance has been dramatically increased over other indicators of this type with a tighter seal around the bezel and frame, and the elimination of a lifting lever screw. A long slot in the lifting lever makes the contact point for the lift a straight line, creating a smoother lifting action and leading to longer operational life. A flat crystal allows easier reading, and jeweled bearings inside provide longer, more accurate life. The contact point becomes a straight line for smoother operation.
