Hog bristles are stiffer than horsehair. Metal — For burnishing, polishing, non-sparking static dissipation and deburring. Brass is a softer bristle than stainless steel. Conductive aluminum handles act as a conduit between the charged surface and the path to ground. Use these brushes with a wrist strap to avoid a static discharge from damaging sensitive components.
