Wenn’s ums Löten geht When it’s about soldering Quand il s’agit du soudage Technical Data Sheet STANNOL® ECOLOY® Tippy Lead-free Cleaner and Tinner for Soldering Iron Tips Description: STANNOL ® ECOLOY® Tippy cleans and tins quickly and easily in one step. Particularly electronics and electrical industry need clean operative soldering tips. Contaminated and oxidized soldering tips get back their soldering ability. STANNOL ® ECOLOY® Tippy contains high-quality lead-free solder powder Sn97Cu3 with activating additives. The alloy for tinning is compatible with all usual solders (also lead-containing alloys). Therefore you can work without difficulties both with lead-containing and lead-free solder wire. For lead-free applications only use ECOLOY® Tippy with the -symbol! Application: Wipe or easily turn the soldering tips over the surface of STANNOL ® ECOLOY® Tippy (attention: Never press the hot soldering tip onto the block). The tip temperature should be min. 250°C and max. 450°C. The cleaning and tinning improves, the higher the tip temperature is. Even at high temperatures only hardly perceptible steams arise, therefore the ambient air will not be polluted. After cleaning and tinning the soldering tip must be cleaned with a slightly moistened sponge. A very thin tin coat is sufficient, with which can be worked immediately. Packaging: 1 block STANNOL® ECOLOY® Tippy, net 12 g, in a metal box.
