The 5.0SMDJ series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic
equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient
voltage events
Features
•For surface mounted applications in order to optimize board space
•Low leakage
DO-214AB(SMC)
•Glass passivated junction
•Low inductance
•Excellent clamping capability
•5000W peak pulse power capability at 10/1000μs waveform
•Fast response time
•Typical IR less than 5μA above 22V
•High Temperature soldering: 260℃ /10 seconds at terminals
•Typical maximum temperature coefficient ΔVBR = 0.1% ×VBR@25℃ ×ΔT
•Plastic package has Underwriters Laboratory Flammability 94V-0
•Matte tin lead–free Plated
•Meets MSL level 1, per J-STD-020
•Halogen free and RoHS compliant
Bi-directional
•Whisker test is conducted based on JEDEC JESD201A per its table 4a and 4c
Uni-directional
•IEC 61000-4-2 ESD 30KV(Air),30KV(contact)
Applications
TVS devices are ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, AC/DC power supply, Low frequency signal transmission line (RS232,
RS485, etc.)
