This action was a consequence of our packaging partner closing their 6 inch processing facility. You have received this letter because you have purchased one of these two products in the past two years. We are asking you to place your EOL order by December 24, 2013 and take shipment by December 31, 2014. These orders will be Non- Cancellable and Non-returnable (NCNR). Please be aware that the other package variant of the TSL1401, the TSL1401CL will remain in production and are available for immediate ordering. If you would like to consider changing over to this package type please contact your representative for samples. Finally, there is a redesign effort underway to redesign the TSL1401CS/BCS into an 8 inch process which is slated to result in a drop-in replacement for these current devices. Engineering samples are anticipated to be available by the end of September 2014 with production by the end of 4Q2014. A new part number will be assigned and requalification will be required.
