Always keep work area clean and bright. Cluttered and dark areas easily induce accidents. 2. Do not operate power tools on explosive atmospheres, such as flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools may cause sparks to ignite the dust of fumes. 3. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions could cause you to lose control. Electric safety 1. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock. 2. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. It will increase the risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded. 3. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. 4. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords will increase the risk of electric shock. 5. When operating a power tool outdoors, use a proper extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use a proper cord suitable for use outdoors will reduce the risk of electric shock. 1 Personal safety 1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury. 2. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Always use protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. 3. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack before picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. 4. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance all the time. It will enable you to have better control with the power tool in unexpected situations. 5. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from working parts. Loose clothes or long hairs can be caught in working parts. Power tool use and care 1. Do not force the power tool. Use the power tool correctly for your application, and you will get better performance more safely. 2. Do not use the power tool if the switch doesn’t work. Any power tool cannot be controlled with fault switch. If it has happened, please contact the authorized service center. 3. Please disconnect the power source before adjusting, changing accessories or storing power tools. It will prevent the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. 4. Keep the power tools away from children and do not allow persons who are unfamiliar or without these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous to untrained users. 2 5. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment of binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the operation of power tools. If damaged, send the power tool to repair before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools. 6. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits, etc., in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular type of power tool, taking the working conditions and the work to be performed into account. Use of the power tool for operations different from their intended use could result in a hazardous situation. 7. During storage period, please recharge the battery once every 3 months to prevent battery deterioration. Service Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical/original replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. Important Safety Instructions Before charging, read all instructions and caution marks. WARNING: Do not allow any liquid into cordless screwdriver; it may cause a danger or fire. 1. Never recharge a fully charged battery/tool. Charging times more than two hours will shorten the battery life. 2. Do not use the USB cordless screwdriver while it is charging, it will reduce battery's performance. 3. Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary. The use of an improper extension cord may cause the risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution. 4. Do not charge with higher voltage than indicated as user manual specification; otherwise, the tool will burn up. 5. Pull on the charger to disconnect from the power source. Do not pull on the wire only. 3 6. Do not disassemble the USB cordless screwdriver. Take it to an authorized service center when it doesn’t work or other problem happens. Incorrect re-assembly may result in the risk of fire, electric shock or electrocution. 7. Make sure that the leads of charger are positioned, so they will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise it may cause a damage or stress. 8. When the battery is in low temperature condition, the electrolyte will solidify, the internal resistance will be infinite, the battery will not be used and cannot be charged Additional Safety Warnings of Tool 1. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the power tool. Do not charge over two hours; otherwise, it may cause battery liquid leak or explosion. Operation Instructions 1. As per screw type ,choose the correct screwdriver bits, insert into the chuck. 2. Set the rotation direction to the forward direction. Align the screwdriver bits vertical to the screw; otherwise the screw or the screw head may be damaged. Press the on/off switch until the screw is tightened, then release the on/off switch. 3. Remove the screw: Set the rotation direction to the reverse direction. Put the screwdriver bits vertical to the screw; otherwise the screw or the screw head may be damaged.
