WIZ105SR R attempts too connect this IP addresss. ⓙ Ne etwork mode e: - cliient/server/m mixed : Thiss is to selectt the comm munication method m baseed on TCP. TCP T is th he protocol to establish the conn nection befo ore data co ommunicatio on, but UDP P just prrocesses the data comm munication w without conne ection estab blishment. Th he Network mode of WIZ105SR W can n be divided d into TCP Server, S TCP Client and Mixed mode accord ding to the connection n establishin ng method.. At the TC CP server mode, m W WIZ105SR operates as server on the process of connection, c and waits fo or the conne ection triial from the client. WIZ1 105SR operaates as client at the TCP P Client mod de on the prrocess off connection n, and tries to connect to the server’s IP and Port. Mixed d modes sup pports bo oth of Server and Client. The comm unication prrocess of eac ch mode is aas below. . Figure 4 4. TCP Serve er mode At the TCP Servver mode, WIZ105SR W waiits for the co onnection requests. TCP Server mo ode can be useful u when the monitorring center tries t to connnect to the device d (wh here WIZ105 5SR is installed) in orde er to check the status or o provide tthe commands. In norrmal time WIZ105SR W is on the waitin ng status, and if there is any connecttion request (SYN) fro om the mo onitoring center, the cconnection is establish hed (ESTABBLISH), and data com mmunication n is processed (Data Tran nsanction). Finally F conne ection is clossed (FIN). Hardw wired Internet Connectiv vity Wizard ((WIZnet, Inc.) 16 In order to ope erate this mode, m Local IP, Subnet, Gateway Address and Lo Local Port Nu umber sho ould be confiigured first. As the connection is esttablished, daata can be transmitted t in both direections – from the hosst to the WIZ Z105SR, and from the WIIZ105SR to th he host Figure 5. To operate thiss mode, Loca al IP, Subnet,, Gateway Address, A Serv ver IP, and Seerver port nu umber sho ould be set. If server IP had h domain n name, use DNS D function.. In T TCP Client mode, m WIZ10 05SR can acttively establlish a TCP co onnection too a host com mputer when power is supplied. n the above figure, dataa transmission proceeds as a follows: As illustrated in 1. A As power is supplied, s WIIZ105SR boarrd operating as TCP clien nt mode actiively establisshes a con nnection to the t server. 2. If the conne ection is com mplete, data can be transsmitted in both directionns – from the e host to the WIZ105SSR and from WIZ105SR too the host In this mode, WIZ105SR normally n ope erates as TC CP Server and a waits foor the conne ection req quest from the t peer. Ho owever, if W WIZ105SR rec ceives data from f the serrial device before b con nnection is established, e it changes too the client mode and se ends the datta to the serv ver IP. As like TCP Serrver mode, the t Mixed m ode is usefu ul for the casse that the m monitoring center c trie es to connecct to the serial device (i n which WIZ Z105SR is use ed) to checkk device stattus. In add dition to this, if any em mergency occcurs in the serial device e, the moduule will chan nge to Clie ent mode to o establish th he connectioon to the server and deliver the em mergency status of the e device. ⓚ Usse UDP mode Figu ure 6. UDP mode m At th he UDP mode e, the conne ection estab blishment is not defined. Just set thhe IP addresss and port number of th he peer and send the daata. D function is needed, check this option o and in nput the dom main name of o DNS ⓛ Usse DNS : If DNS serve er. DNS(Doma ain Name Sysstem) is the database sy ystem having g informationn about IP ad ddress and ccorrespondin ng domain na ame. When cconnecting to o domain name, you cann use DNS fun nction of WIZ105SR. Inp put IP addre ess of DNS sserver provid ded by ISP in DNS Serveer IP, and do omain name e in the Servver (Domain) If serrver has dyna amic IP addrress, but dom main name, if you use DNS D function,, you do nott need to co onfigure server IP addresss whenever iit’s changed. ⓜ Diirect IP Searrch Direcct IP Search can c be used for searchin g WIZ105SR not installed d in the samee subnet. If the e Direct IP se earch is chec cked, the con nfiguration tool t use the TCP instead UDP broadc cast to searcch modules. Therefore, network infformation off the module such as IPP address, subnet s maskk and gatewa ay is required d for the seaarch. If you u check Dire ect IP search h, the field i n which IP address a is input, will be activated. In I this field,, input IP add dress of the module, and d click “Searrch” button. ☞ If module doe es not have e valid netw work informa ation, Direc ct IP search is not available. Hardw wired Internet Connectiv vity Wizard ((WIZnet, Inc.) 18 Checck if module e is connectted to the N NAT or priva ate network k. If so, it i s not possib ble to connect to the module m from m outside. ⓝ Se earch The SSearch functtion is used to search aall modules existing on the same LA AN. By using g UDP et will be se broad dcast, all mo odules on the e same subne earched. The ssearched mo odule is displayed as MAC C address in the t “Board list”. ⓞ Se etting This ffunction is to o complete the t configuraation change e. If you u select the e MAC address from the “Board list” ”, the defau ult configuraation value of o the modu ule will be displayed. d Change the cconfiguration n and click “Setting” “ buutton to com mplete the cconfiguration n. The mod dule will re--initialize with the changed configguration. Changed value e is saved in n the EEPRO OM of the m odule. Thuss, the value is not remooved even though powe er is disconne ected. The cconfiguration n value can be b changed iin below steps. ① Se elect the ma ac address off which conffiguration va alue should be b changed iin the “Boarrd list. The vvalues config gured will be e displayed. ② Ch hange the va alue ③ Cliick “Setting” ” button. The configurattion change will w be comp plete. ④ Th he module will be initialiized to the cchanged valu ues (re-booting is processsed) o check confiiguration ressult, click ‘Se earch’ button. ⑤ To ⓟ Up pload Firmw ware will be uploaded th hrough netwoork ☞ Affter uploadin ng the firmw ware, 20~30 0 seconds arre required for f initializaation. ⓠ Ex xit : Close th he configurattion tool pro gram.
