The plugs are very easy and comfortable to identify each other over distances up to 100 meters, e.g. in clusters of racks in data centres facilitate enormously the allocation of ports. Description Order number Each RJ45 connector has an integrated LED which is illuminated by a detector. It works in anyway if the connectors are plugged in or not. That function has no influence on the Ethernet data transmission. The new Smart patch cables expand HARTING’s Automation IT generic cabling system. The family is marked by an unique design of the two part boot, called dual-boot design. This offers a very easy robust handling and bending protection.
