Overview The Digi One IA Modem provides reliable, cost-effective remote access to industrial equipment. Users can quickly and easily access, control or collect event data from RS-232 serial devices using standard telephone lines. This compact, rugged v.92 56K external modem is designed specifically to connect Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), flow meters and other remote, industrial-grade serial devices. Used in tandem with other Digi serial servers, the Digi One IA Modem is ideal as a failsafe dial line backup for serial-to-Ethernet connections.
