The catalog part number AT25F512B & AT25BCM512B will be replaced by AT25DN512C (see Table 1). The new AT25DN512C devices are pin-to-pin and functionally backward compatible with the current AT25F512B and AT25BCM512B devices with the following exceptions and enhancements.  Extended-VCC Operation Adesto has designed the AT25DN512C devices to operate over a 2.3V to 3.6V range versus the previous 2.7V to 3.6V range options on the AT25F512B and AT25BCM512B series of devices. Dual Output Read and Speed Improvement The new AT25DN512C supports dual output read. The maximum operating frequency is enhanced to 85Mhz versus previous 70Mhz on the AT25F512B and AT25BCM512B. Software Reset and 256 Byte Page Erase Added A software controlled reset and a uniform 256-Byte page erase function have been added to the new AT25DN512C device. Ultra Deep Power Down Mode Added A new software controlled ultra deep power down mode has been added to the AT25DN512C. Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) Rating The MSL rating will be Level 3 or better on all packages and part numbers.     Page 2 of 3   Identification Method: New catalog part numbers use AT25DN and suffix “C” for the device revision. AT25F512B and AT25BCM512B are changed to AT25DN512C.
