(1.52 m) ● Wall plate screws ● Owner’s Manual Description The B130-101A-WP-2 VGA with Audio over Cat5/Cat6 Extender Kit includes transmitter and receiver wall plate units that work in tandem to extend a VGA signal to to a projector, monitor or television. The kit is ideal for digital signs in schools, churches or retail applications where the video source is located farther than conventional cables allow. Attractive wall plate units eliminate cable clutter. Because compatibility issues can occur when EDID information is not properly communicated between the source and the display, the B130-101A-WP-2 includes an EDID copy feature. This enables the transmitter to store the display’s EDID information and send it to the video source, ensuring top-shelf compatibility. The B130-101A-WP-2 can extend a 1024 x 768 (60 Hz) signal up to 1000 feet (304.8 meters) and a 1920 x 1440 (60 Hz) signal up to 500 feet (152.4 meters) when using 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable, such as N022-01K-GY (Cat5) and N222-01K-GY (Cat6), to connect the two units. For optimal image quality between 500 and 1000 feet, use zero-skew cable, such as P524-01K. The RJ45-type wall plate jacks accept standard Cat5e/6 Ethernet cables, so no 110 punch-down connection is required.
