All Micro-Lite® Fiber Optic illuminators include an internal infrared (IR) filter that retains heat to the power box, keeping only cool, bright light entering the fiber optic cable. Our Fully Variable Intensity Control features a ‘rolling start’ transformer. Instead of instantly bursting into full intensity, the ML3000 circuits have a millisecond voltage ramp up, which greatly extends the life of the components and bulbs. We offer three distinct fiber optic styles: dual goose neck, back lit stage, and annular ring. This is a popular method for viewing minerals, crystals and other transparent specimens. Also for deep hole/bore inspection when top lit illumination might produce too many reflections and shadows. Our annular ring lights are machined with an extremely slim profile, allowing for maximum working distance when mounted underneath a microscope. This fits onto most microscopes manufactured today. We do have other diameter fiber annular rings available and can manufacture custom fibers. FL400 Bulb Replacement is simple on the ML3000. Holstered in a spring loaded mechanism, pressing a lever uninstalls the bulb for you. Push a new bulb in place, and you are in operation again. LV2000-B ESD SAFE The O.C.
