POLYAMIDEIMIDE MAGNET WIRE DATA SHEET - REMINGTON INDUSTRIES This Polyamideimide-Coated Copper Magnet Wire from Remington Industries is a high quality solution to a variety of severe thermal overload applications, thanks to its high temperature rating. Simple but vital to many applications, magnet wire is copper wire with a thin layer of insulation which protects the coiled wire from short-circuiting. With its excellent thermal resistance and attractive enameled sheen, magnet wire finds use in a large variety of applications including transformers, wound coils, motors, relays, solenoids, Tesla coils, clock/watch coils, instruments/guitar pickups, and arts & crafts. The raw copper in our magnet wire is drawn to meet specific size requirements based on standards created by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).
