HP6215 16V, 500mA, Low Power Consumption LDO GENERAL DESCRIPTION FEATURES The HP6215 series is a set of three-terminal, low power, ⚫ Input voltage: 3V~16V high CMOS ⚫ Output range: 2.5V~5.0V technology. The series features extremely low quiescent ⚫ Output current: 500mA (Within Max Power Dissipation) current which is typically 2.0µA. They allow input ⚫ Dropout voltage: 200mV @ VOUT=3.3V, voltage regulators implemented in voltages as high as 16V. The device provides large IOUT=100mA current with a significantly small dropout voltage. ⚫ Quiescent current: 2μA Typ. The HP6215 consists of a high-precision voltage ⚫ Good line regulation: 0.01%/V reference, an error correction circuit, an over ⚫ Good load regulation: 5mV@1mA≤Io≤50mA temperature protection circuit, and a current limited output driver. They are available with several fixed ⚫ Low temperature coefficient: 0.07mV/℃ output voltages ranging from 2.5V to 5.0V. CMOS ⚫ Soft start technology ensures low dropout voltage and low current consumption. APPLICATIONS The HP6215 regulators are available in standard SOT89- ⚫ Battery powered equipment 3L and SOT23-3L packages.
