SPECIFIC METHOD OF MOUNTING TO WITHSTAND VIBRATION AND SHOCK The capacitor unit is designed for mounting on a printed circuit board. In order to withstand vibration and shock tests, it must be insured that the stand-off pips are in good contact with the printed circuit board. The capacitors shall be mechanically fixed by the leads and the body clamped. SPACE REQUIREMENTS ON PRINTED-CIRCUIT BOARD FOR 2 PINS PRODUCTS The maximum space for length (lmax.), width (wmax.) and height (hmax.) of film capacitors to take in account on the printed circuit board is shown in the drawings. For products with pitch = 37.5 mm, Δ = 0.7 mm for l and w, and Δ = 0 mm for h For products with pitch = 52.5 mm, Δ = 1.0 mm for l and w, and Δ = 0 mm for h Eccentricity defined as in drawing.
