Extreme caution should be observed when using these products. READ and FOLLOW these instructions. Caution! Laser radiation. Do not stare into beam. Class 1 laser product. Use only on properly-rated electrical circuits. Connect to properly grounded outlets only. Disconnect from power source during 120V/15A 230V/8A service and when replacing parts. When using an extension cord, use only a 3-wired grounded cord rated equal to or greater than the appliance. Connect to properly grounded outlets only. To reduce risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose heat gun to rain or moisture. Store indoors. Do not use near flammable materials or where fumes, gases or dust are present. Do not use in presence of explosive atmosphere. Keep nozzle at least 1”/2.5 cm from work surface. Do not apply to the same place for a long time. Be aware that heat may be conducted to combustible materials that are out of sight. Use in well-ventilated area. Introduction Master’s ProHeat STC is the first heat gun of its kind that has the ability to sense and control the temperature of the work surface. This is done by setting the desired target temperature on the LCD and watching the actual work suface temperature increase until it reaches your target temperature. The ProHeat 1600 is perfect for use on temperature sensitive surfaces of all types where heat control is needed. The ProHeat 1610 Dual Mode heat gun takes heat gun technology a step further and allows the user to toggle between surface temperature sensing mode and the traditional nozzle control heat gun mode. Whether you chose the PH-1600 or PH-1610, be sure to take time and familiarize yourself with the safety and operating instructions inside this manual. Product Warranty Master Heat Tools are carefully tested and inspected before being shipped from the factory. We warrant our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service, for one year from date of purchase. In the event of a defect in materials or workmanship we will either repair or replace, without charge at our option, any part which in our judgement shows evidence of such defect. Warranty does not apply to wearable items such as attachments, brushes, heating elements, solder tips, heat tips, burners or ejectors, which require periodic replacement, nor does it apply if the heat tool has been misused, abused, tampered with or altered. At the end of the warranty period, Master Appliance shall be under no further obligation, expressed or implied.
